The new Eastern Columbia logotype is based on the original signage of the Eastern Columbia building (1930) at 849 S. Broadway in the Broadway Theater District of downtown Los Angeles.
The logotype was commissioned by Los Angeles based ReVerb design studio for the rebranding of the historical building.
In addition to the logotype I also designed the Eastern columbia typeface to be used for signage and printed materials.
